Step 1 — The Idea: Dream to Design

Every masterpiece begins with an idea — a spark of imagination drawn from culture, emotion, and modern luxury.
 Our designers interpret inspirations from nature, architecture, festivals, and human emotion, sketching raw concepts that carry both heart and structure.
 Each design passes through evaluation for balance, wearability, and soul — because at Zorba, a jewel must feel alive even before it’s made.

Step 2 — Designing on CAD/CAM

Just as global brands rely on innovation, we at Zorba use advanced CAD/CAM technology to transform emotion into engineering.
 Our in-house designers translate sketches into detailed 2D and 3D digital models — ensuring microscopic precision, symmetry, and comfort.
 CAD (Computer-Aided Design) enhances imagination; CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) ensures execution.
 Together, they make art measurable — giving every Zorba jewel a perfect form and flawless proportion.

Step 3 — The Model: Bringing Design to Life

From digital creation to physical form, our model makers convert resin prototypes into silver masters.
This silver model becomes the genesis — the source mould for every piece of that design.
Every contour, edge, and proportion is hand-checked by our senior craftsmen before proceeding further — because perfection, at Zorba, is not optional.

Step 4 — The Rubber Mould: Preserving Perfection

We create precision rubber or silicone moulds that replicate the silver master.
 This ensures consistency, scalability, and timeless replication — much like how luxury ateliers around the world maintain their iconic collections.
 This process, known as vulcanization, ensures that even decades later, Zorba can reproduce a heritage design with the same emotion and accuracy.

Step 5 — The Wax Miracle: Treeing & Casting Prep

Using wax injection machines, molten wax is pressure-fed into the mould cavity to produce wax replicas of the jewellery.
Each wax piece is then attached to a central wax stem in a treeing process — an artistic structure symbolizing growth and creation.
Light designs crown the top, heavier pieces anchor the base — balancing weight and flow for uniform casting.

Step 6 — The Casting: Turning Wax to Gold

This stage — the heart of transformation — converts wax into metal.
The wax tree is encased in a flask with investment powder, baked in a furnace, and replaced with molten gold or platinum.
When the flask cools and breaks open, the first glimpse of the new design appears — raw, unpolished, but full of promise.
This is the moment of birth for every Zorba creation.

Step 7 — Grinding & Smoothing

The rough casting is refined through multiple grinding and filing stages.
Using motorized polishers, our artisans remove imperfections and achieve a seamless surface finish.
Every angle is smoothed for comfort; every curve is measured to millimetric precision — a hallmark of luxury jewellery houses worldwide.

Step 8 — Filing, Assembly & Pre-Polishing

Individual components — whether chains, motifs, or stone holders — are assembled into one coherent piece.
Filing removes excess solder, pre-polishing enhances reflection, and each part is checked for symmetry and proportion.
Pre-polishing before stone setting ensures that every diamond sparkles with its full brilliance — a discipline Zorba upholds with pride.

Step 9 — Stone Setting: Precision Meets Passion

This is where artistry meets science.
Our expert setters carefully embed each diamond and gemstone into its metal cradle — choosing the right setting for brilliance and security.
From prong to pave, bezel to invisible, each setting reflects the Zorba signature: clean, bold, and full of light.
Our craftsmen blend global techniques with Indian finesse, ensuring every stone tells a story of excellence.

Step 10 — Polishing & Finishing

Polishing transforms craftsmanship into luxury.
Using fine buffs and graded compounds, our polishers give the metal its final shine — from mirror-gloss to soft matte textures.
Whether it’s yellow gold’s warmth or platinum’s cool sheen, polishing defines the character of every Zorba jewel.

Step 11 — Rhodium Plating: The Modern Glow

Rhodium — the rare white metal — is used to enhance lustre and durability.
Zorba’s in-house plating specialists ensure each piece achieves a consistent, radiant finish that resists tarnish and elevates its brilliance.
Every tone — rose, white, or yellow — reflects modern luxury inspired by tradition.

Step 12 — Quality Check: The Promise of Perfection

Before a piece earns the name Zorba Diamond, it undergoes a multi-layer quality inspection — measuring, testing, and viewing under magnification.
 Every clasp, stone, and curve is verified to meet our international finish standards.
 Only when it passes every check does it leave our workshop — carrying with it our eternal promise:
